AfDB lends $316m to Morocco for World Cup airport upgrades

AfDB will lend Morocco $316 million to upgrade airport infrastructure ahead of the 2030 FIFA World Cup. The use of proceeds includes upgrades to passenger terminals and modernisation of equipment at airports in Marrakesh, Agadir, Tangier, and Fez. Morocco is investing MAD38 billion ($4 billion)...
