Switzerland approves five electricity reserve plants

The Swiss government has approved five electricity reserve plants powered by carbon neutral fuel, with a total capacity of 583MW.Contracts with providers in the cantons of Valais, Aargau, and Basel Country are now being negotiated. The plants are expected to be operational between 2027 and 2030....
