Panama plans 670MW gas-fired power project

Panama's President has announced that a 670MW gas-fired power plant project is to be built on Telfers Island near the Colon port. The $1 billion Generadora Gatun project will be owned by the government (25%) alongside InterEnergy Group (51%) and AES (24%). Commercial operation is being planned...
