Green Finance Institute appoints first CEO

The City of London Corporation has announced y that Dr Rhian-Mari Thomas is to become the inaugural chief executive of Britain's Green Finance Institute. The former global head of green banking at Barclays will join the new Corporation and government body ahead of its formal launch in July. Her role will be to capitalise on the growing impetus among green finance stakeholders to‎ develop partnerships and engineer opportunities to spur green investment.
