TuNur applies for 4.5GW Tunisian solar export project

UK company TuNur is seeking Tunisian governmental approval for a project to supply Europe with solar power from a Sahara Desert complex near Rejim Maatoug in south-west Tunisia. Export would be via three submarine cable links to Malta, Italy and France.
