Adani to go ahead with scaled down Carmichael mine and rail project

The chief executive officer of Adani Mining has said that the Carmichael coal mine in central Queensland has the finance in place and is ready to proceed. The mine will begin on a smaller scale than the approved project and gradually ramp up. The project will be 100% self-financed.
