Russia kicks off 1.9GW renewables auction

The largest renewables auction will run from May 29 to June 9, in two stages. A minimum 40% of equipment must be domestically produced and Rosatom will retool existing factories to make turbines. Finish energy company Fortum Oyj has prequalified.
