Pilbara secures approval for $230m Pilgangoora lithium mine

Western Australia has issued the final environmental approval for the Pilbara Minerals project located south of Port Hedland. Full offtake agreements have been arranged with China's General Lithium and Jiangxi Ganfeng Lithium. The latter is also providing $20 million to fund the start-up.
