Pembina to acquire Veresen in $7.1bn deal signalling new look at Jordan Cove LNG

Calgary-based energy infrastructure company Pembina Pipeline Corp is planning to buy a Canadian rival that is in the process of reapplying for permission to build a $10 billion LNG export terminal and Pacific Connector pipeline in Coos Bay, Oregon.
