Indonesian court revokes Cirebon 2 permit after JBIC signs loan

The West Java civil court has ruled that the environmental permit for the 1GW coal-fired power project had been issued illegally. A consortium of Korean and Japanese lenders led by Dutch bank ING had already signed a loan agreement to provide $1.7 billion.
