Japan proposes 30-year Fukuoka International Airport concession

Japan is planning to privatise its fourth largest airport to fund the development of a second runway.  Construction of the 2.5km runway and associated airside improvements is estimated to cost $1.5 billion with $1 billion coming from selling the operation rights.
