SAF projects are complex to finance, with short offtake contracts and high prices often deterring project finance lenders. SAFCO Ventures has lowered costs to secure a longer-term offtake for its SAF project in Pakistan, allowing the company to close the first SAF project financing in the Middle East, Central Asia, and Asia-Pacific regions.
