Societe Generale has a global footprint and it had numerous successes in non-Latin markets in 2020, notably its advisory and lending role on the challenging Mozambique LNG deal and its very obvious presence in Asia as a major financier, and one of very few non-Japanese lenders to the fledgling Asian offshore wind sector in Japan and Taiwan.
